This course is a project-intensive laboratory and will require students to be present in class in order to learn necessary skills. Absences from class must be approved by the instructor. You may email the instructor prior to the date of the requested absence. In case of emergency, please contact the instructor as soon as possible. More than two unexcused absences will result in no credit for the course. The instructor expects you to have a sustained engagement with the material outside the classroom for the purposes of experimentation and production. Failing to do so will hinder your progress.

This course is aboutmaking things, and materials to build with are, most often, not free. Do expect to spend money on materials and services. The instructor will help you to minimize costs if that is a concern.

Assignments will be given in class and are to be completed by the date specified by the instructor. The details of the assignments will be covered in class, and will be listed on this website. Readings will be available for download from the school's portal when announced. Please read them and be prepared to discuss the material during the next class.
